  I'm so sorry so many have to go through this process - all while enduring the brain tumor journey.  However, since GBM is on the SS fast track list, it's worthdoing the research.  I know of one situation where a person received SS benefits WHILE working - there is a type of SS payment that allows that.  PLEASe make the phone calls and ask the questions.   I've been following your mom's story since you first posted as my husband was diagnosed at around the same time.  Your mom definitely has done things HER way and so far, happily, it has worked out.  I continue to keep her in my thoughts and prayers.  Thanks for the update!
