My husband, soul mate, best friend was diagnosed with GBM after biopsy only in December 2008. We live in Wildwood, New Jersey and travel the 2 hours to Jefferson University Hospital for treatment with Dr. Jon Glass, NO, Dr. David Andrews, NS and Dr. Marie Werner-Wasik, NR. Rob has done the standard of care: 30 days rad/temador, followed by 4 months of 5/23 temador. He had a recurrance and new spot in July 2009. He had 11 days of stereotactic radiotherapy, 6 avastin invusions and continued monthly temador 5/23. October 2009 another new spot and will start 11 more days of stereotactic radiation on Oct. 27. We will drive the 2 hrs. each day and pray this works. Rob has had a biopsy on the right temporal lobe tumor, shrinkage in the left frontal tumor and left parietal tumor. His recent spot is in the left medial frontal area.
