I am 34 years old and was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer in Oct 2008. I had a total thyroidectomy in March 2009 and had endless complications after surgery. In July 2009 I had my whole body scan before doing the I-131 treatment and was told that my levels were too high and needed further surgery. In Oct 2009 I underwent a bilateral neck disection to remove all the lymph nodes from my neck.
