  Thanks for your response....honestly, sometimes I think I have more trouble from the insurance companies than I do the pain.  I worked in Human Resources for 30 years advocating for the employees who worked for our company.  I was the one who worked with the brokers negociating with the insurance companies.  Of course Blue Cross/Blue Shield was the best...expensive but not so intursive...Health America...

  Dear Doctor Dan: I think I wrote to you previously...but I thought if I update you with my "progress", maybe you or my other friends could please come to my rescue! I was "managing" to live a somewhat normal life (for a person with chronic neuropathy) being medicated with 1200 mg of Gabapentin(600mg 2x daily), 10 mg of Oxicontin 2x a day, 40 mg of Celexa(at night)...I still had pain, I was still limited with drivin...

  Jeanette: Wow....been there done that! Except I did not get any choices except who do you want as a surgeon...What!  I just came to the hospital cause my doctor sent me there for a severe stomache ache.  What surgeon do I want....that's like asking me who my attorney is!  Anyhow, lucky for me I worked in an HR department and has seen enough disability claims to know which was the best surgeon.  S...

  Well after the nerve study indicated that I did not have neurophay, I met with the Nuerologist who informed me that he did believe that although the nerve study did not present any nerve damage, that I did in fact have neuropathy.  He insturcted me to continue to follow the current medication regimin I was on: 1200 mg. of Neurontin, 10 mg. of Oxicotin every 12 hours and 20 mg. of Celexa.  However, the pain ...
