I am aged 72 nad was diagnosed with stage 111c ovarian cancer in May 2007 after many trips to the local GP had surgery plus 9 rounds of chemo carboplatinum and taxal x5 then taxatere and carbo pl.x4. In Nov. 2008 cancer returned and had to have a colostomy as it went into my bowel ,then caelyx x5 at monthly intervals. My ca125 got down to 9 then 2 months later it is now 57 have had a pet/ct scan which was negative. oncologist said all is clear no cancer and not to come back for three months for blood test ca125.
