I went to a gp on friday,and talked with him about the vomiting and nasusea i have been having. he is sending me to a gastroenterologist also getting blood checked,xrays of abdoman. Here is my question i have this lump on my left leg just below my knee i have had this lump for awhile and sometimes it hurts to touch it ,well i had him look at it and he said that my left leg was darker in color than my right leg .i was trying to take in what he said and forgot to ask what this means. My friend said maybe there is something blocking the flow of blood to the leg ,ihas this happened to anyone else and what did you ndo for it

i had the same things you desribed. i lived with it until i could not take the pain anymore .i went hospital and they did a ct scan found a mass on my ovary. then i went to another hospital because i had trouble breathing ,they drained some fluid from my abdomen to ease the pressure they sent some of the fluid to the lab it came back positive for cancer .went to a gyn\onocolgist and he said it was stage 3 ovarian cancer .scheduled me for chemo

Hi ,i had the the smptoms. Went a couple of months like that and could not take the pain any more . Went and had a ct scan and another test also . They found a large growth on my ovary,went to hospital and had abdomen drained that was when i was diagnosed with cancer . Spent one night in hospital .Went to a onoc he said i had stage 3 ovarian cancer.  Oh rember what the other test was transvaginal ultrasound . ihad tchemo 2x,once befor surgery and after

Thank you for your response.  It's funny that you ask about the fatigue, because I have had this for the past two months.  It will come and go, but there are days when I can barely get going.  That is one of the strangest symptoms because I am usually high energy.  But when the fatigue hits, I feel like a zombie.  I've made an appointment with a new doctor for next week. Hopefully she will address this issue, and help put my mind at ease.  I have a family history of breast and ovarian cancer, so this is concerning.

I have also had those symptoms ,and alot of pain which made n=me ask tor help from my sister . I finally got to go and had a ultra sound and a cat scan ,i was found to have ovarian cancer it was stage three. to That was in dec of 06 whent through chemo for 6 cycles had surgery and more chemo tn 07 after the surgery but did not fibish the chemo because i was having badf reactions to one of the drugs that i had given the first time ,it seemed kike every other time i had treatment ihad frouble with the drug.   I think you are doing the right thibg about seeing another dr insist on getting a cat scan.i hope you get good news
