I am the daughter of Craig, 61 y.o GBMIV dx 8/5/09. We live in Myrtle Beach, SC. I share caregiver duties with my mom, which right now consists mainly of a lot of research and taking notes at doctor's visits, etc., as dad is really doing well. He's finished the standard 6 weeks of radiation/temodar, with Avastin infusions every 2 weeks. We're heading into the next phase of 5/23 Temodar, continuing Avastin, and the unknown future! I'm also wife to Bret, and mom to 3 teenagers - 18, 16 & 15. My 18 y.o daughter just started her first year at Duke. We've consulted by phone with Dr. Friedman, and are waiting until the next MRI to talk again. For now, we're receiving treatment at the Medical University of South Carolina, about 2 1/2 hours from home.
