  I'm really sorry to hear about your father. I agree with Helen about taking him to the hospital and asking for aid. If you use one of the nonprofit hositals, such as those run by the Adventists, you will likely received care, as opposed to a for-profit hospital run by a large corporation.   My husband has an 8cm invasive mass removed Nov. 17. The cancer is called thymic carcinoma. It had grown into his lungs, bumped against his heart and invaded some vessels and nerves.   Well, there was nothing in his history that we were hiding. We had zero idea. Plus he hasn't been to a doctor in god knows when, maybe 20 years. :) I'd think this will be OK. I don't know how the cancer hospital will handle it when chemo starts. we have a cost sharing 80/20 and up to 15K in total loss plus the 2500 deductible, with all the expenses, we can not pay them much, we'l still be paying last years!

  Hiya. Ultrasound normal. I did the upper and lower GI, a few things but nothing too major: gastritis, two small polyps removed and I have something called Barrett's esophagus. They did a biopsy and I'll likely have to get the endoscope for some time, unless they find bad cells on this one, I will just go back to be monitored.
