Could be the hormone levels that's making me a little sensitive, or it could be that I need to drop the ENT and find an endocrinologist. February 7th.  My symptoms are increasing as time goes on. Last few days have been way different than the euphoric, feel-better-than-I-rememver-feeling-in-past-several-years despite being told that my TSH, T3 and T4 were 'within normal range'. Annoying symptoms: constipation Insomnia Afternoon fatigue No nervousness, but forgetfulness is definitely increasing. Occasional heart palps. As I've mentione...

Nurse calls and very tentatively asks, 'How are you feeling today?' She notices my voice.  I comment that for the past few days, I've been having trouble sleeping and am desperate for a lie-down in the afternoon. Turns out my TSH is 13!  SO they've lowering my Synthroid from 125 mcg to 112mcg.If my levels are high, am I hypo or hyper?  Is this the backwards thing?

I have posted about how wonderful I've been feeling and this still holds true, except for the voice thing. I have been going to physical therapy for the past couple of weeks because of a car accident I was involved in December 22nd - the day of my biopsy. TT 1/4/12.Several days ago, I noticed as I massaged around my scar and neck, that I have a very definite swelling in the digastric muscle region to the right of my...

Hey Su! No PET scan, but had 2 CT scans in as many weeks (two accidents) - and a biopsy.

I am encouraged. Suddenly, it seems like things are healing pretty quickly.  Though it never was overtly swollen, the incision still had some thickness to it.  Yesterday morning, I woke up and that thickness is almost gone.  Yesterday, I also noticed how much better I sound.  Still got a good way to go. Also very encouraging to hear some of the responses here.  Patience...never really ...

The 'not being able to yell at anyone' delights my kids to no end.  For me, it means I have to become far more creative.  It also means I can no longer 'interject' or defend myself from being 'talked over'.  HOWEVER....it's a very, very small price to pay for feeling this much better!! :D

Prior to the discovery of the growth on my thyroid, I'd long complained about fatigue (sleeping 14 hours a day), fogginess, hair loss, uticaria, weight gain, sensation of weighted legs, heart palpitations etc.  Thyroid tests all showed me as being 'within normal range'.  The diagnosis of all of my symptoms were either 'you're not getting any younger', and 'some women just experience these thi...
