But it's more painful, time consuming than common treatment, dermatologist notes
I too have peripheral vision loss in left eye. It's very annoying but this should be the worst of my problems. There are prism glasses that may be able to help you. They take your current glasses and put 4 prisms on each lens. It was very confusing to me so I didn't give it a long chance but it may help you. See a neuro-oncologist to discuss.
Regarding driving, I am not driving...
Thanks for getting back to me. I hope these drops help you out and that your next MRI shows a skrinking tumor (if not disappeared tumor). Keep me posted. I'm only reading good things about CBD and the fact that UCSF will be starting clinial trials using it means something to me.
I reaf that the University of California will be beginning clinical trials on humans using cannabidiol. Apparently this has worked extermely well with mice and seems very exciting (tough to use that word here). In additon Israel has done similar tests with the same results.
Has anyone ever heard of these trials and/or have tried it?
What is the best way to buy it and use i? Is it edible or should be vaporized and inhaled to get effect needed to fight cancer?
I am now halfway thru radiation and prior to starting I hear it has a cumulative effect on you. Now I know what the word cumulative means. Supposedly within a few weeks of completion you start getting energy back and won't sleep as much. I hope this is the case if not better.
HELLO, I'm sorry to hear about your visual problems. It hits home as I have the same problem looking to the left in both eyes (thankfully I csn see straight and to right) I spoke with a friend of a friend who visited a neuro-ophalmologist who recommended prism glasses for what we have = HOMonymous hemianopsia. This worked for her.
I saw this doctor last week and he didn't mention these...
Rmp1399. What clinal trial vaccine is your wife doin? Thanks
The most promising trial I have heard of is the dcvax immunotherapyerapy vaccine. It is run by Lina Liau as chief investigator at ucla but other hospitals are now using it. It is a phase three trial.
There are 2 catches though:
1. They need fresh tissue at hospital performing trial to create vaccine. This means another surgery. For many people another surgery is not warranted at this time. For some reason frozen ...
That's wonderfull news!! I hope we hear the same news about her for the next 50 years!!
G-D bless and heal you all!!!
Duke says I should start this asap. This is an avastin based trial with me taking avastin. Does anyone have any thoughts? Thanks for your time and thoughts!
I have a grade ii glioma. i was diagnosed in march 2012 and had crainiotomy which removed half of my tumor. the tumor is ingrained near some critical areas and I'm currently on wait and see approach. I am also taking seizure prevention medicine.
