    Thank you for getting back to me.  They want to do infusion, not perfusion, and I'm not totally clear on the difference other than it affects lymph nodes.  But Sloane doesn't do perfusion.

      Does anyone have any experience with this treatment?  My father has melanoma, it was in his foot and spread to the small intestine.  The tumor in the small intestine was surgically removed.  It is now left only in his foot. He didn't respond to immunotherapy (yervoy and mdx1106 trial) or chemotherapy. Now they are suggesting isolated limb infustion.  Does anyone have any experience with this? &nbs...

        Thank you for taking the time to respond to me.  Do you mean isolated limb infusion?  We are meeting with the doctor tomorrow to discuss treatment options and I will mention it. Thank you for your suggestions.  I hope that you will do well, I don't know that much about Interferon but I do know they say Yervoy really works wonders for many people.  My thoughts are with you as well.

          Do you know which are the different clinical trials for my father's type of melanoma?  Anything combined with Yervoy probably not an option for him.

            I am hoping somebody can help or advise me.  My father was originally diagnosed with melanoma in his toe about 2 1/2 years ago.  His toe was amputated, and then everything was all clear for 2 years, and we were so happy and relieved.  A few months ago, they found something in his small intestine and one of his feet.  He went into a trial for ipilmumab (yervoy) and MDX 1106 combined.  We wer...
