  Has anyone with rcc experienced this? My husband is having seizures (not as bad since he is on diliantin) but he still feels them coming on. His face is swelling, his eyes are hurting and he is so fatigued from the radiation to the brain. Will it help and shrink them? He is now on Afinitor after one good year of Sutent. I say good yr bc of shrinking of tumors but he hated the sutent...rough on him!

  My dad had colon cancer which spread to the liver. They tried a new thing (which the dr described as a can?). They put it in right next to the liver and it fed chemo to the liver. It did not work for my dad bc he got sick and they removed it; but I have a friend that had liver cancer and she had hers for several yrs and is still going! My husband will be 59 in aug and was never sick. It is hard to see him so sick an...

  I know how you feel! My husbands was found last Jan and they removed kidney in Feb. he had mets to the lungs also. They started him on sutent and he did very good for a year, they continued to shrink! Then they stopped and now he is on Afinitor. Sutent is good according to a lot of people. Wonder why he wants to take him off so soon? My husband now has mets to the brain and having seizures. It has been a rollercoast...

  Sorry, I did not get to ask my question yesterday! At work. Has anyone had these things to happen?  Did the radiation shrink the tumors? I wish there was a book so we could know the next thing coming?????

  My husband was diagnosed last January. They removed right kidney & adrenal. It had metasticized to lungs. Sutent worked good until May, now he is on Afinitor. He had 2 seizures last Thurs. and cat scan showed lesions on the brain. He has had radiation to chest and back for a tumor and now having full brain radiation. His cough is terrible,
