Hi Lana,  It's been awhile since I have come on the blog so here I am again.  Well, I made made my choice not to do the clinical trial and go with the Rituxan maintenance of which I will begin on Feb. 4th.  My recent bone marrow biopsy came back clean so that was a relief for me.  I still have a little cancer left where I first discovered it, not much, about the sz. of an eraser on a pen...

Hi Lana,  Thank you for your response on this matter.  Your right about it working on the other cancers but as I read the side effects of the Revlamid I just don't feel comfortable with it.  It seems like the Rituxan maintenance is working for others. I know if people do the trials it could benefit many people and I guess I feel a bit guilty about that. I have to go with what I feel in my heart and min...

Hi,  My name is Nancy, I am 67 yrs. young and I have FL stage 4. I am having my last chemo tomorrow my 6th treatment. I was approved for a clinical trial of Rituxan & Revlamid.  My standard treatment was Rituxan & Bendamustine for the 6 treatments. Hi Tristan,  I know that some onc do W&W as for me my doc had me have lots of test first. They included, CT SCAN, PET SCAN, BONE MARROW BIOPSY. But before that I had a needle aspiration to find out for sure if I had FL.  I found a lump at the groin area the size of an egg.  I was having leg problems for a couple of yrs. but didn't think anything of, maybe senior pains. I was messaging my leg when I...

I see, I don't have that problem yet, do you think it will happen to me also?  My husband has a port and ask me why I don't, so I tell him that I have chemo only once a month two days in a row and he has his chemo every two wks.  Do the veins go bad and they can't use them again?  Thanks for the reply.  Happy Thanksgiving!!!  We have lots to be thanksful for, each day is a day to be thankful ...

Hi Lana,   Thank you for the encouragement and the quick reply. So, I am thinking I will not have the other clinical the Lenolidamide and stick with the Rituxan maintenance. It sounds like that works. What do you mean your having trouble with IV's?  I am hoping that after my completion I will have 100% gone.  Thanks again for the info and I will keep you posted on how things are going. Best to you...
