I know how you feel. My husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer 7 years ago and after the surgery he went into depression and heavy drinking and 7 years later the drinking is even worse because he has so much pain. The doctor warned that if the cancer had spread it would most likely be bone cancer or lymphoma. My husband does not want to know so he will not see doctor and has not since the surgery.   The la...

Can you describe the smell please? I posted some time back about my husband and the odour and suspecting bone cancer, he already had prostate cancer 7 years ago. He will not see a doctor. He does not want  to know. Last weekend the smell was so strong from Friday until Monday, it was awful. A nurse friend suggested diabetes. But as his wife of 30 years I just have the feeling it is bone cancer, he has so much p...

not sure about other messages here but with regards to my husband's body odour it is coming from his entire body. I would imagine from the pores. Having said that, my father passed from lymphoma and there was never an odour.

He will not go back and has so many weird pains in legs and back and a weird odour as well. I believe he has cancer again but he does not want to know. Last night he had the tiniest spot on his leg just start bleeding for no reason. No injury or any...

Can you describe the smell? My husband had prostate cancer found during a physical. It was the primary cancer and doctor said we would not know if there was a secondary until something else showed up.  The last couple years he had had constant back pain sometimes radiating into the legs, blood in stool, loss of muscle mass and serious depression as he does not want to know what is up. He will not see a doctor a...

My husband had surgery for prostate cancer 5 years ago and since he found out about the cancer he has been very depressed and has been drinking a lot. His psa has been fine at every check up but it really does not matter. He refuses to see the doctor about his depression and as his wife, life has been very difficult for the last few years.I am angry that he will not seek help and so we live with his anger. So I have been online looking for support from other caregivers and maybe some insight into how to handle my situation.
