    Wow must be scarry. You have to have faith in your Dr. Sometimes info on the net is generalized or inaccurate. You might mention your thoughts and concerns to your Dr,.They won't know if or waht kind of cancer it is until they remove it and send off for biopsy. I have to comment on that statement.The surgeons are brilliant but don't seem to have a clue about how your sysytem works after they have reconstructed it.             Husband is 2 years out of the Iver Lewis. Doing well except that the latest Cat scan shows a hernia in the Esophagus at the joining to the intestine. Dr will be putting a mesh "patch" in that area. 3 Hour surgery on sept 2 witha 5 day stay in the hosp. Any of you had this or heard of it. If so please send a line Thanks Jane

                GOOD ADVICE, MAINE MED SAID THERE WAS NO HOPE! Then went to BRIGHAM & women"s IN Boston Mass.They gave us hope and he is 2 years out of surgery and so far clear of cancer. Get a second opinion

                  Microwaves,Yes it has been my thought also.Many people stand right in front of the micro watching and waiting for the food to be done. Power lines another ?? In my town the deer that roam the power lines have bben found to have tumors so the hunters say.

                      bring me up to date.Did youaaar husband have the Ivor lewis surgery? My husband had esophageal ca about 2 1/2 years ago surgery Ivor lewis laproscopic 20 months ago.Is doing fine now eats everything. Was awhile getting to this point.
