  My recommendation would be not to wait until June.  I would push to get in ASAP.   If your doctor won't see you, then I would get recommendation for another doctor.  Just my opinion.  The worry alone would be enough for me and I would not be able to handle.

  Violet - My daughter is about to start treatment for Stage II Hodgkins Lymphoma.  In January she had a lump come up on her neck as well.  Sounds like the same place as you - left side.  In March her doctor ordered a CT Scan immediately and they found enlarged lymph nodes in her neck and chest.  She has since had a biopsy that confirmed her cancer.  She is finishing up her freshman year in co...

  Katie -  How are you doing?  Have you started your treatments? My daughter was just diagnosed with almost exactly your areas of the cancer.  Neck and chest.  She starts treatments on May 3rd - 4 cyles of ABVD and then 15 radiation treatments.

  Hello.  My daughter that is a 19year finishing her freshman year at college was just diagnosed with Stage II A/B HL.  She is set to start chemo on May 3rd.  She is also going to be on the ABVD for 4 cyles and then 15 days of radiation.  Did they not talk to you about radiation before you started your chemo treatments?  We just met on Friday with the radiation therapist to give us all of the d...

  Thank you all that have written me with your support. We went to the Oncologist on Friday and found that the HL is stage II A/B - he said that her symptoms are not fully one way or the other. He performed a bone marrow aspiration and we will find out the results of that on Tuesday. He wants to put her on a treatment plan of 6 treatments of Chemo every two weeks and then radiation.   Scared of diagnosis for my 19yr old daughter. Tomorrow we see the oncologist for the first time. She had a swollen nodes on the left side of her neck come up. CT scan found swollen lymph node in neck and lungs. Last Tuesday had surgical biopsy and path results came back positive HL.
