  Hello. I hope you don't mind me chiming in with a question also. First of all, I hate this. I hate cancer. My friend was just diagnosed with a low grade glioma but it's inoperable and cannot be debulked due to its location. She is about to begin 5 treatments of radiation a week for a minimum of 6 weeks.   She is getting MRI today of her lung, pelvis, abdomen, etc... She's also getting a mammogram and pap culture. Her oncologist wants to find out if this is a primary or a met from somewhere else.   Kate, I was reading your reply to this post. My friend (adult female, mid 40's) was just told she has a low grade glioma in her brainstem and mid brain. Told surgery is not an option but that's all we know so far.  She met with her Oncologist and is going for more tests to put together a strategy.
