I had a heart attack in late Oct. 2009. While in the hospital, it was discovered that I also had a bad gall bladder and non-Hodgkins lymphoma. You can imagine my shock, as I had been a very healthy adult my entire life. I hadn't been feeling well for about a month prior to all this, but my primary care doctor told me after about a 20 second examination that he didn't think I needed an x-ray and put me on Cipro. I received poor care for my NHL at the local cancer treatment center, so I went to The Cancer Treatment Centers of America's Chicago facility. They are wonderful! My cancer is in remission and, after the placement of two stents during my original hospital stay, my heart is fine.
