I have non small cell stage 4 lung cancer. I also have an autoimmune disorder called Giant Cell Arteritus; I have been taking Prednisone about eight years for this condition. During that time I did develop other prednisone related illnesses as well as breast cancer that resulted in surgery. The two cancers are unrelated. This week I start taking Tarceva. I hope it buys me a little more time, although I've probably overstayed my welcome! Does anyone know if these two drugs are compatible? If not, are you aware of the side effects?
