      It will become more clear after you talk to oncologist. You will be given a plan and just try to stik to this, plan don't think much about anything else, try to leave day by day and future at the same time! It is really important to find the right doctor, who will spend time with you to know better which treatment is good for you, since every case is different! I know how overwhelming you and your loved ones feel now...

        My husband was diagnosed in January of 2011 with stage IV colon cancer, mets to liver and lung at age 48. At first apptm doctor said there is no choice for a surgery and he has around 2 years left. He started chemo, blood showed great respond, doctor changed his mind and we got hope.               You are saing you excluded sugar products compleately. All wheets, grain, starch, beens, potatoes are carbs that convert into sugar in your body. I assume you don't eat all this. However, you said you are mostly vegitarian, so if you have eliminated all carbs and meet food, what do you eat? What keeps you from being hungry. I always knew that person can ether eat high protein diet (which is mostly meat) or high carbs...

                  My husband is out of chemo for 1.5 by now, but he did have one relapse during this period, had on oblation procedure done and is NED for now. We are seing on integrative medicine anocologis in addition to a regular oncologist. He recommended on Mistletoe injections, which we have started doing. He also recommends a Vit.                       Can you please explain what do you mean by "getting 3rd set of Mistletoe injections, as have not found the right one yet"? I was under impression there is just one kind that is available. And how do you know you haven't found the right one? Has your cancer markers raised?
