hi cheryl

yes it is when you have a regrowth it usually comes back around the same area so it it possible you will have similer symtoms  i have recently had a regrowth and i am displaying  exactly the same symtoms i was having pre op

hi i was on keppra for about 3 weeks and had terrible time it made  me spaced out fatigued deppressed but i did nt get headaches but from what i  gather people do react to it very differently

hi there i do know of someone who had an inoperablefrontal lobe tumourand he underwent radiation which sucessfully reduced the tumour back to its core and he is still doing well over a year on you do have to bear in mind that whatever treament you have it will take time to work sometime months it is hard waiting believe me i know i went radiation and temador myself and it  a few months but itworked and until about 3months ago i was showing clear scan try to stay positive

thanks im finding that out as i go im on my3rd drug  in about six wks but i seem to get every side effect going its becoming a bit frustrating but i ll keep trying.

i think this is the main problem with anti seizure meds  a lot of the side effects a mirror the symtoms of tumours so it hard to determine what causes what some times and it seems to me most doctors just want you to be on something rather than nothing regardless of the side effects.

Thanks for letting me know.  I have already been on Keppra, but it didnt agree with me.  I have just come off lamictal and that doesnt seem much better as I came out in a nasty rash.  I have looked at the side effects of tegretol and the side effects are similar to lamictal so i am now weary of going on it.

Hi everyone, I would like to find out people's experiences with Lamictal and Tegretol Tablets.  I have recently experienced side efects with lamitctal and I have now been put on Tegretol and i would like to know if anyone has any experience of this drug as the side effects are similar.  Tony

Hi marie thanks for that i ll look into that i was told that the trial would run for 17 months and if i was on the drug then i would stay on it how long has your husband on the avastin now and how is he doing

hi there i was diognosed in 2009 but have been doing good following surgery and follow up treatment do try and get on a trial because if nothing else you will be looked after and monitered well

hi i was diognosed with a low grade glioma in december 2009 aged 49 which i had removed in may 2010 unfortunatly it had changed to a higher grade went on to have temozolamide and radiotherapy which has worked well until recently i had a regrowth and am now back on temozolamide again .
