I joined this site after reading so many stories of others in the same situation as me and my family and found them to be supportive. My only sister passed away on April 14, 2010. Diagnosed in 6/09 with lung cancer, she was talked into removing the collapsed lung. The cancer then spread to her left arm and they wanted to amputate. she went through more chemo to hopefully shrink the tumor to keep her arm. 1 month later she was told it spread to her stomach and was given 6 months. She lived 6 days. My oldest brother was diagnosed in 1/10 of stage 4 kidney cancer, which has since spread to his stomach. The tumor is so big it has begun to wrap around the main artery to his heart. I'm sick and devastated and angry. I just don't understand why cancer feels so entitled to invade people do devistatingly and painfully.
