Well I am 58 and was diganosed with troat cancer last June 09. I live in Southern CA and have been an ironman triathlete and very active person. Well Starting in late July I had 40 radiation and 8 chemo and I must say it really kicked my Butt! I lost about 30 pounds. * weeks after treatment I am a shell of my old self. Very weak and very tired. I am getting better every day though, some days I might not know it but I am. I ecpect to have a PET scan in Dec and hopefully will show the all ckear This forum is a godsend and I really appreciate all the folks who share their experiences
