That is a lot of claims that have been files. do you have any idea how many have been denied and how many have been aproved. It is amazing how so many veterans can complain about this disease and no one will listen. I think a letter to the president is in order and then the guy in charge of the VA. Maybe something will get done then. I am still going to fight for my husband.

I will keep in touch and I will be praying for you. I will appreciate any thing you can do to help me do this. i didn't think anyone was able to fight that long and win. Most of the people i talk to give up but I vowed to my husband after he passed that i will fight until the day I die that the VA would recognize that vietnam veterans with colon cancer are being treated wrong because they are not sc for a disease tha...

I am sorry about your brother. This is a problem that just keeps getting worse for Vietnam vets. They are making all kinds of efforts to help the veterans that have come back from iraq and afganistan but our vietnam vets i think they are lost. They were treated so badly when they came home by society and the VA that most of them don't trust the VA for help, especially the ones that have PTSD. Unfortuanately the Vietn...

Larry if you think that V.N. veterans do not talk about their health and the way A O affected them you don't know them. They do but no one really wants to listen, like you they believe that the health problems they recieved from being in VN are all a joke. Well i was married to a VN vet and my brother is a vietnam vet and both suffered from severe PTSD and my husband got colon cancer. It is real and it was caused by ...

I sent an appeal for my denial of survivors benefits in late August and have heard nothing. I wish there was some kind of forum we could go to to tell people who deal with these claims on behalf of all the families who have lost vietnam veterans to colon cancer and have been told that it is not related to agent orange. We need to find someone who can help. I feel i am running out of time. It has been 2 years since i ...

Tell everyone a little bit about yourself i have lost my husband to colon cancer he was a vietnam vet and was denied disability for it he was cancer free for 8 years and it returned to his lungs because the hospital said that its was mets from his colon they denied him compensation for lung cancer. I work at a va hospital and have seen many vietnam vets diagnosed with colon cancer and be told that they can't get compensation for it. i am appealling even though my husband is gone.
