  Sorry you are experiencing so much. My opinion is...talk to your doc AND get a second opinion. My first oncologist told me my tumor was inoperable. The second said it was operable,but,with some really bad senarios from the surgurey it's self.   Hospice is differnt in some areas. We have a young woman staying with us with tounge cancer. Hospice has been wonderful! She has very much improved on the pain scale and the antiinflmmatory helped so much. Talk to your doctor about it.  She is on morphine as well as  metadone for pain. Hospice takes care of the whole family, not just the patient. We are w/ Pinellas county hospice.

  Sometimes you have to ask for that support. Find a support group for survivors....they will best know about that blast of emotion that come out after an ordeal like this.
