I was just diagnosed with Anaplastic Astrocytoma grade 3, on Nov. 2009.I had a complete resection of the tumor. And my last two MRI's have come back clean, thank you GOD, with my upmost respect to you my LORD. And just now going to start my combo of radiation and temodar, after 5 weeks. Im 33 years old, and male. I stay very positive, I have two children and a beautiful wife that all support me. This is all temperary. And I have alot of faith, that god did not allow this disease to kill me, he just allowed me to get this to draw me closer. WE are a christian family and very proud of it. This is chump change, and this will not beat me. Hold your head up and let's all fight this battle together. Remember your mind will kill you, let's stay positive, there are alot of cancer survivors out there, even with anaplastic astrocytomas grade 3. Like mine/or ours. Update, as of Aug. 2010 still going strong Nov. will be my year mark. And all MRI's are still coming clean. Up date, May 2011 Scans are still clean. 2012 Sept. Now the Dr.s' say it was definitly a Glioblastoma, im 3 years out now still clean of cancer. Im also still doing Temodar, healthier now then I ever have been.
