They had told me they read the original slide so I let them do a tonsillectomy. When the results of that came back with no cancer is when I found out they had lied to me. It was after that they looked the original slide that was never ordered and rechecked. So now they are telling me that they could not find enough evidence to say that I have cancer. But for now I will take all my medical records and go to Mayo Clini...

I just sent all my records to mayo clinic and have a new doc. Hope they will have the answer as to what to do next. I don't trust my old doc. I am glad you are doing good and hope if you need a feeding tube you don't wait. I was at a cancer group at the YMCA today with people in all stages of recovery and treatment. It's a 12 week program that I hope to compleat so that we can all help one another. Good luck keep us ...

I am confused too. They did the surgery looking for the primary. Not only did they not find the primary but the lymph node that had no sign of cancer is now basiclly undetectable to the touch. It makes me wonder if I had a false positive form the begining. Do I risk my life at 85% return rate as you say. At what point do you trust the doctors. I asked them if they thought another fine needle biopsy on the lymph node ...

It will be a week ago tomorrow that I wrote this. The pain is no walk in the park. I just got the biopsy results back from the nurse. They found no cancer in any of the biopsy. When they did another fine needle on my lymph node it collaped and is now gone. At this point I am cautiously optimistic and have an appontment on Friday to talk with the doctor. I am not sure I want to have chemo and radiation based on the cu...

I hope this will be my scenario and they can locate it. That was the reason they gave me along with doing several other biopsys in my mouth. After we get the results the tumor board will come up with my treatment regiment. The pain now my save me form more pain later. It was worth it to me. When they did a fine needle biopsy during the surgery on the lymph node that was the secondary cancer sight  it colapsed. I...
