Share Your Words of Wisdom

by Dana Demas

When you hear that a loved one or someone you know has cancer, you may not be sure what to say. You may feel under pressure to show you care, with kindness and respect for the very personal journey they are experiencing.

Lori Hope, an author and cancer survivor, is asking fellow cancer survivors to share the words and actions that are most helpful for people whose lives have been turned upside down by cancer. The results will be published in the second edition of her book, “Help Me Live: 20 Things People with Cancer Want You to Know.”

The survey contains the 20 statements people with cancer have said they most need to hear.

Share your thoughts and perhaps you will help someone find the right words, take the survey.
