After my bilateral mastectomy Jan, 2014, I decided on my own to cut out red meat and have done so almost completely. My breast cancer has not returned, but being a type 2 diabetic, my blood sugars have dropped to where I had to reduce my insulin 10% and my routine lab work on everything else has come into the normal range.
