This question involves the most recent Radiation Seed Implant approved by the FDA which is Cesium - 131.

There has been Iodine I-125 for use for many years, then came Palladium pd-103 and now there is Cesium - 131.

Does any one have any experience with this type of Seed Implant ???

I understand that the Half Life of the Cesium is less than 10 days, Palladium half Life is approx. 17 days, and Iodine is approx. 60 days.

I assume that the shorter the half life of the Radiation, the less  impact to the patient. ???? correct or not ??

All are all of the above types of Seed Implants equal ???  If not, What are the differences ??  Good or bad ??  Hot Spots ?  Side Effects ?? Etc.

Thank you for your comments.
