Anything to ease mandible bone pain?

It seems like the radiation has kind of limited Dad's mouth opening and also led to continuous jaw bone pain. I don't know if it's a side effect from the treatment that will never go away or the cancer that is still in there (chemo & radiation took some away, but not all) that is causing the constant pain. He had SCC in the jaw that went on to erode his mandible.

He's on cannabis oil and I won't say that it hasn't had any effect at all on his overall pain. He doesn't squeal in pain anymore and sleeps a little better but the bone still hurts all the time, especially when we clean his mouth. We cannot avoid movement completely since he will need to maintain oral hygiene, eat and talk so movement also may be causing it to pain. We also give him Curcumin with Boswellia & Piperine, one capsule twice a day. Someone suggested Oregano oil for pain too, so we've just started a few drops with water.

Can anybody suggest any other natural painkiller that could help ease out the pain in his mandible? The bone in particular?

Thanks!
