Hi I never had any symptoms like you have, but am now experiencing the exact same pain, after Surgery and Radiation. I am 4 treatments away from finishing and started having severe pain 2 weeks ago. It happens nearly all the time I sit to go to the toilet, even if I am just passing urine. Saw my dietician today who said it was just a side effect of the radiation. Maybe after your surgery it might improve, I hope so for your sake. To lessen the pain, have a cold face washer on hand and apply to your back passage, the colder the better. When I was told this I thought oh that'll work not, but it does. And breath through it. Having had 3 children, ts like panting through a contraction. Hope this helps.

All the best with your treatment. I only had radiation, didn’t do chemo. Each person reacts differently to treatment, let’s hope you sail through it. I will have my fingers crossed. Xxx
