I have all these same issues..lichen, Vin, itching..surgeries etc. I found an essential oil that relieved my itching and lichen sclerosis. It is DoTerra Frankincense oil..I do a little mix of other oils in with it, but frankinsense is what relieved those symptoms for me. It has even lessened the VIN a little..I have laser surgery coming up in May 2016 so hopefully it will not be as bad by then :)

Coconut oil is another good symptom reliever

I use coconut oil on everything! Almond oil too.

I need to try the DoTerra for sleep.

I'm sorry you're going through this mess. I'm on year 15 and 2 vulvar surgeries. Good luck in May!!

Hi! I was just wondering what other oils you are using with the frankincense? I have read great thing about it as well.

the main oil is frankincense, then I add a couple drops of:

Geranium, cypress,Clove bud(careful-too much of this and it can sting), lavendar, lemon, white fir and coconut oil.

I used this for just 3 days and it has cleared up the lichen, it may still be under the skin, but it gave me smoother skin down there so not as much irritation. I use it daily now, just once after showering. again, be careful with the clove oil since it is such a sensitive spot, it can get tingly :)

Thank you. I am just curious why those specific other oils. I was just thinking of adding it with a little bit of coconut oil?

My neighbor, who is a DoTerra dealer mixed me up a "cancer mix" she thought would help me with some of my symptoms. As I am un-sure which one helped with the lichen and the itching..so I am keeping to the same formula :)

I am amazed at how much better my skin feels down there. I only apply it in the morning, and then I use coconut oil the rest of the day/night..
