Hi  I'm almost 3 years out of Tonsil cancer treatment.  Yesterday, I had some dental work done, and have had no trouble with 2 other crowns, but, on this one, My jaw is still swollen.  the swelling did go down overnight some, but my daughter noticed it right away when she saw me this morning.

Anyone else had this, and is this something I need to go to the Dr for?  I've heard all about that jaw healing problem and was concerned about it healing properly.  anyone have advice for me?

Hey,

Before I started treamtment I was told that after treatment I should try to avoid dental treatments such as extractions and caps, hence the prescription for fluoride toothpaste to prevent cavities.  So I'm glad to know you had success with two crowns.

But, yes, under the circumstances, if the swelling is not down in a few days, at least go back to the dentist.  Let us know what happens.
