The tumour has shrunk further, from 7 cm to 3 cm, and he's getting chemo as normal. Further updates later, maybe.

I was wrong, those measurements should have been in inches, so it's about 6-7 cm... still, it's shrunk.

Apparently, his CEA level has gone down to about 2.6... which is very good, probably.

Apparently, they may want to ease up on the erbitux, I have no idea to what extent.

He's getting a week off erbitux to clear up his hands, next week should be a full treatment (Erbitux+FOLFIRI).

... he fell the other day and dislocated his shoulder. It's back in, he's home with a cast, but there's no chemo this week.

It may be too early to talk but tropical storm/hurricane Michael seems to have basically missed us, we lost power last night but it was on when I woke up. The Greek festival got pushed back qa day, so nothing's missed there.

Father is uutterly exhausted and sleeping, that's almost certainly reled to his shoulder.

The P53 is a gene that makes a cell that has mutated (like a cancer cell) die. When your body kills a mutated cell it is called cell suicide or apoptosis. Cancer can have a P53 that does not work so the bad cancer continues to live and the cancer does not die.

He;s home with his pump, there was a scan last Friday... apparently the tumour has shrunk  little more and the antigen/CEA is way down, which is probably good.
