I was recently dx with a stage-1, T2/3, N0 tumor only 2.5 cm big with adenocarcenoma. Still waiting needle biopsy of some swollen axial lymph nodes under my left arm but otherwise no Mets in my other organs in torso abdomen or pelvic/GI on MRI or CT scans so far. Good prognosis DRs hope to shrink the tumor with radiation and chemo first, surgical removal if that doesn’t work. Starting chemo and radiation next week. I’m hopeful and optimistic that I can survive radiation and chemo without too much heartache and rectal section removal without impacting rectum function if required based on surgeon evaluation. Just adjusting lifestyle and keeping anxiety in check.

My 36 year old son is in the same boat, almost identical situ ation.  He was diagnosed Jan. 11, 2018.  We are going the natural route with no chemo or radiation.  In all the research I have done, this seems like the best route for him.  I will share info on chemo trials if you want them and also on nutritional benefits, but only if you are interested as I know this is not for everyone.  I pray you will have success with your treatment.
