Having been told CHEMO is the ONLY treatment for TNBC. You may want a extra opinion on the radiation.

I agree.  Reconsider the chemo. The results willl not be good.

I also had the Neulasta shot the next day. Ask for lidocane zidocane topical creams. Put on 1 hour before shot... Put a small piece of cellophane over it. Also ask RN to warm it bit she can. WORKS WONDERS FOR THE PAIN OF THAT STUFF!

I agree.  Reconsider the chemo. The results willl not be good if you let it go. This type is aggressive and fast.

@Crabbie

How have you been doing, noticed it is now a year later.

Remembering back when I went through this with my daughter.  I know in my heart the chemo was what caused her death. And still the cancer progressed throuhg it all. If she had gone the alternative route in the beginning there would have been better results for sure. Like all things there are alternatives that are remedies and others that are professionally done. She did try some remedies along with the chemo and radiation but now I know they don't have much of an impact on something so aggressive. I hope you are doing better. Love to hear how you have been doing.

The only difference in my experience and yours was size of tumor. It was 6mm. I had a lumpectomy, radiation, and chemo. I am two and one half years out from initial diagnosis. It was not an easy journey, but was the best way for me. If to do over I would choose mastectomy over lumpectomy. Prayers for you.

I have stage 2 triple negative IDC as well and started with 4 rounds of chemo that I will follow with surgery. Mine had not spread prior to me starting chemo. The combination of chemo drugs I am on seem to be the right ones for this type of cancer as my tumor all but disappeared 7 days after my first round of chemo. The fatigue has been the hardest part for me, with it gradually getting worse each round as your not fully recovered from the previous round. I see the oncologist and surgeon again on my last chemo day to discuss next steps and timing to do my surgery. Chemo is not easy but can be manageable. To me the long term results made it worth doing.
