holistic options for beating bladder cancer in dogs

I just joined this group in hopes of finding someone who actually beat bladder cancer in their dog.My dog had blood in his urine and the vet prescribed 2 rounds of antibiotics initially .Then an x ray to rule out stones, then the ultrasound revealed a mass.Vet says they are pretty sure it is cancer,to confirm a variety of testing would have to be performed.

Since this diagnosis I have been extremely upset and am searching the internet for a miracle. My Hank is 10 years old and I love him so much. I began to research diets and hollistic options. I just started him on a raw diet along with Graviola 500mg.2x apple cider vinegar, and a abdominal massage with Frankensense 2x a day.

Deep inside I feel I will be defeated and was hoping to hear some positive stories from others. Nothing is worse than just waiting and seeing blood when my dog urinates.

I would like to hear from others,

Hey Jenne,

I am in the same journey with you. I am sorry to hear that your pup has TCC, so does mine. We are in month 5 and I can feel her slipping away. In the beginning we changed her diet to Sweet Potatos/rice and boiled chicken. Took her off dog food immediately and noticed a difference, or it might have been placebo affect on my brain.

No chemo- no surgery, the vet recommended deramaxx for two weeks, didnt notice a difference in the blood only in her demeanor and then when I took her back two weeks later she told me to STOP giving it to her immediately as all her levels were out of whack and this medicine could shorten her time.

Than, my mother who has a blood cancer has found great results with Low dose neltexrone. LDN. Her doctor suggested using it for Charlie. So we found a vet in NJ who prescribed that and she said she has used it on many dogs and has either had really wonderful results- or nothing at all. After two months, I didnt see any results of Charlie taking it so we stopped giving it to her.

Now I give her two calcium chews a day which seems to keep her urine a bit cleaner, but no ridding of the blood. And a little syrup once a week, beacuse she has started shaking alot recently which I think is her sugars. To me, the most important thing is to keep her warm, fed, loved and adored. I also massage her legs whenver we lay down together, all the squating her muscles are sore from straining to pee constantly.

I hope this was helpful- I suggest looking into LDN, if you are in or close to NJ I can give you the name of the vet. It may be the perfect alternative for your pup.

Much Love,

Charlie

I’m so sorry to hear about your dog, I hate that he is going through that. I recently found out about a natural product called Buddy Custard that helps with the treatment and prevention of chronic illnesses such as cancers that unfortunately so many dogs are afflicted with. The product is based off the scientific Budwig method that was created 70 years ago and is still widely successful today. As opposed to treatments such as chemotherapy and radiation which kill all cells, this product works to infiltrate all cells to regenerate their health, which means that nothing but positive health effects are spreading which allows for the treatment of this issues. Certainly there will be an improvement in symptoms as well. It is a supplement that you can add to your dogs food or give to them on its own, just a tablespoon per 10lbs a day so the product will last you a long time. Additionally, there have been many, many people who have seen success with this product and their dogs are healthier and back to their happy, playful selves. You can read more at buddycustard.com but I would highly recommend this product for your dog. I hope that this was helpful and that your dog can beat this cancer and have more good years ahead. Keep us posted, I’ll be praying for your pup.
