Sounds like you are doing fine, but another thought that some people do is go to see a pelvic dysfunction physical therapist specialist who has extra training in treating pelvic floor issues. They can do biofeedback and give you exercises and make sure you are doing them right.
Doctors do not refer RP patients to them, probably because there is no medical literature that this improves outcomes. The only evidence is antidotal. The theory is that your best shot at recovery is right after the surgery (not 3 years later), so try to do everything now that is possible while it is the easiest to help the healing process.
If I had to do my RP over again, I would definitely go this route. All I got from my doctor was a piece of paper with Kegels on it.
