Hi jaduech1,

I'm sorry to hear about your mother's diagnosis.  My brother passed away from SNUC last year.  I'm not telling you that to depress you, I'm telling you that so that you know why I am responding to your message and the info I am about to give you.  I hope you are on Facebook, because there is a closed group called "SNUC Family".  Please search it and ask to join.  It is a group for SNUC patients and their families and is a wealth of information.  You can post your question on there and possibly someone in the group can lead you to the best possible surgeon. There are alot of survivors in that group!  That is the great news!  I'm leaving on vacation for a couple of days and won't have much access to a computer until Sunday, Augst 12th.  Then, I can answer more of your questions.  In the meantime, please work on joining the Facebook SNUC Family group.  You won't be sorry.

One more thing...there are some other posts, although most of them are rather old, under the "Oral Cancer" area of this site.  If you click on Oral Cancer, and then go to Nasal Cavity, you will see some old SNUC posts.
