can you have multiple myleoma if you have No monoclonal proteins detected?

My husband has had urine test and it says abnormal kappa free light bands and abnormal band of igG but no monoclonal proteins are detected. Can you have MM without monoclonal proteins?

I recently camea across a disorder/diagnosis called Non secretory Myeloma.... Maybe check that out.... I don't know if it will help. Good luck
