I have a gym in my office that is great and I want to continue to work out. Most people in my office don’t know I am being treated for cancer. Looking for ways to be descrete in hiding the hair loss in the locker rooms etc.

Your going trough something u need a lot of strenght , courage and will power for, dont worry about some loose strands.. Its just hair. Maybe not hidding it, will give u less insecurities , that is if u feel comfortable with it, you dont have to make cancer look easy, dont be so hard on yourself, and be kind to yourself. They can adjust and adapt.

Or.. i guess the hats give u away, have you tried a bun ( if u have long hair ) or maybe a hairband? Or carry one of those rollers with u, the sticky ones?

P.S. ur a trooper, treatment and the GYM! wish i had ur strenght :)

There are extenuating circumstance why I need to keep the discretion at work at the moment and why I am trying to be creative at hiding it there. My boss and the critical people know of my cancer and are supportive of me through the process otherwise. I was avid at the gym prior to starting chemo and have the clearance to continue to do that during chemo as much as I feel up to it. For my the gym quiets the mind and helps me sleep better in general. The biggest challenge for me is that I don’t want to wear my wig to work out, but will need to change

You can actually get treatment for these conditaions ,I some time bought this product from emisprescription.com ,it really helped slow down the rate at which I was lossing my hair and I later on stopped lossing my hair completely.
