I am just getting results in and I am being tested for Multible Meyloma.  I don't know anything but I am getting nervous.  See I have some medical know, edge but I am not a nurse or Doctor I am Medical Assistant.  So a little knowledge goes a long way.

So anyway, I have Iron Defficency Anemia.  This time I am seeing a Hematologsist in the Ocology clinic.  Now I am not familiar with the Retic counts, the absolute, immature fraction, and the Retic/Hemoglobin Equivelant.

Then there is the Kappa Free Light Chain @2.82 and Lampda free light chain @1.30 and the Kamppa/Lapda Ration 2.17 B12 is 995 The protein Eletrophoresis shows in it's comments No apprant Monoclonal Protein on Serum Elctrophoresis  I have not had my appointment as of yet not til the 4th and it is driving me crazy.  So am I even in the right place?

You're OK, those numbers don't sound bad at all at least fo MM or MGUS. Try to relax until your appointment, I know it's scary.

Thank for your reasuring words.  I did make it to the appointment and I do not have MM and my bm is making my cells right so it is negative.  The doc did extensive work up and everything is good.  I do have Iron Defiency Anemia almost 100% sure no bleeding internally.  He said when I was in the hospital since they pumped me with so much fluid it deleted the blood cells so it looked like I dropped 2 numbers in less than 12 hours.  From 8.6 - 6.6 something like that.  So I had my first Iron infusion treatment today and one more next week.  Then I go back in 2 months he wants my hgb at 14.  Also he said I might be able to come down on my oxygen I am currently on 4 liters during the day and 5 at night.  I may need to do another round in 3 months.
