Hi! I just want to ask, should I be worried about my 0.2mm hypoechoic nodule? And I just want to ask also, what does it mean if you have parenchymal disease ? I'm a bit scared.

What does the radiology report say about the nodule? Is it on your thyroid?

Never heard of parenchymal disease, you'll need to discuss that with your doctor.  Does not seem to have anything to do with the thyroid.

My thyroid in my ultrasound came out normal in size, but shows I had one hypoechoic nodule in my right thyroid 0.2mm in size with parenchymal disease. I dont know also what's parench ymall disease, My doctor just prescribed a medication and ordered follow up ultrasound.

best to speak with your doctor.  Never heard of anything called that in relation to the thyroid.

0.2mm is just too small to tell anything, or to be scared of anything. Just keep following it up.
