Hey everyone, I'm reaching out to any and all people who can give my dad hope for this ugly cancer.. has anyone undergone non traditional means of fighting this? Things like gerson  clinic or oasis of hope? He's nervous about starting a chemo protocol so I was trying to research alternatives.  My dad is a vital young 76, and am hoping to keep him around longer.. any and all help would be very appreciated...

I am a stage 4 pancreatic survivor and I was on a very agressive chemo which took all day, then  went home hooked up to chemo for the next 47 hours. I can tell you they have great antinausea drugs to help you through treatment. It's important to eat before you start chemo and drink lots after. If chemo becomes a problem, they will reduce treatment till they get the right amount that suits you! Do not take suppliments unless you check with oncoligist as some interfer with treatment. Tiredness is common and lack of appitite also is comon. Ensure or if he is diabetic glucerna is recommended as it's its loaded with vitamins and all the nutrients your body needs. Chemo goes everywhere in the body plus an added touch from God can bring great results for most! I was diagnosed in 2011 and for me I needed God to take control of this journey, and I know , I'm only here today by the grace of God!  Just know that God can do what man cannot!!

Blessings
