I just read your message. I see it was written in 2011. I had a leep 13 years ago, and another 2 weeks ago. I have been with my husband for 24 years. I have been faithful so I am confuse on why this bad cells keep coming up. I want to believe he hasn't been with anyone during our marriage. We both had sexual partners before meeting each other. Your message spoke to me, and I wonder did you ever found out if your husband was spreading it back to you?

I just had a LEEP procedure exactly a week ago and am still really uncomfortable with the cramping. The bleeding has stopped and started again. Is it normal that my lower abdomen is still really sore and bloated? Twenty-one years ago, I had my cervix stitched up during my pregnancy due to it being incompetent. Just wondered if that scar tissue is making the recovery process longer for me now? Also, I just feel really drained and overly tired. Anyone else feel this way?

So glad to have found this board! None of my friends have had LEEP so I have no one to talk to about it!

I am 30 and just had it done one week ago. The procedure went really smoothly (very fast, no pain, I was frozen with local), but I am surprised at how crappy I feel a week later. My stomach is very bloated and tender, which has been the worst part. Can't wear jeans and have been wearing leggings and sweats all week. I don't feel crampy, but more tight in my stomach, like I've had the wind knocked out of me. Don't know how to describe it but I hope that's normal.

Also feeling drained and tired. Reading now that some women took a week off work which I wish I had known to plan for. It feels uncomfortable to sit at a desk for too long. Yesterday I was walking around with my laptop and a book in my bag and then started to feel so sore and more bloated and very drained -- didn't consider that "heavy lifting" but maybe it is.

I haven't experienced any bleeding yet either ... definitely the watery discharge that some people are talking about, but no bleeding at all. Do you think that's weird?

Thanks to all the ladies for sharing their stories here ...makes me feel better. Wish this was more "acceptable" to talk about on social media bc I'm sure there are a lot of people going through it that we just don't know about!
