Some docs suggest alkalising your body helps with cancer. Two ways to do that is through a Geen Vegetable diet or Alkaline Water. Any thoughts??

Its because cancer cells find it difficult to survive in alkaline environment.

I did a little research and heres what i found:

Restore Cell Function: Ionized water machines produce electrically charged ionized water that can actually “donate” electrical current and rejuvenate your cells.

Increase Hydration: Ionized water passes through your tissues more easily because of its smaller molecular clusters. In fact, ionized water is up to six times more hydrating than conventional water!

Neutralize Acids: Is your body overly acidic? Most Americans’ bodies are, resulting in a host of health problems. Water ionizers create high pH, ionized water that actually neutralizes acids in your body, lowering your acidity in the process.

Detoxify the Body: Because ionized water carries a negative electrical charge, it acts as a powerful antioxidant in your body – absorbing the free radicals that can lead to cell dysfunction and other problems.

The bottom line: Any sickness or disease you have can receive major benefits when you use a water ionizer. Enjoy increased energy, improved mental clarity, increased fat burning, disease prevention, and much more.

did anybody get info on the water ionizing machine? I'm very interested... also, one big way to stay less acid is to reduce/eliminate sugar. I believe taking calcium helps to keep you more alkaline also. And you can go online and look up charts for alkaline/acid foods, too.

Hi,

I wanted to pass on this web sit which helps you determine what foods help you be more alkaline and what foods promote acidity in the body. Each food item has a value to it. The values that are + are alkaline promoting foods, and the foods with a - are acid promoting. Surprisingly, there are veggies that are - so not all vebbies are the same. Hope this helps.

"one big way to stay less acid is to reduce/eliminate sugar."

We have a winner. Cells become acidic because of excess single oxygen molecules (O).

Cells oxidize O2 (two oxygens). That's normal. Sugars and alcohols have hydroxyl (OH) ions. Cells strip the hydrogen off, leaving single oxygen radicals in the form of hydrogen peroxide bleach (H2O2). The bleach "burns" tissue by contributing oxygen atoms. Quickly the environment becomes acid.

This is not so much about consuming acid as it is about consuming foods which create acid.

Stop ingesting sugar.

The following guide was given to me by my nutritionist.  I find it easy to follow.  75% food choices by volume from the alkaline side and 25% from the acid side.
