Essaic and leukemia

my mother was recently diagnosed with AML subtype 1

I have been researching alternative treatments to traditional chemotherapy which she has decided to undergo.

I have read that if the PH balance in the body is between 7.5-8.0 that cancer cannot survive--is this true, or does anyone know?  In the same article I read that cesium chloride given will cause the cancer cells to let in oxygen which kills the cells and they will then be transported out of the body...does anyone know if this is true or has anyone tried it?

second, does leukemia respond positively to essaic?  I came upon a website run by someone called Dr. Pierre Gaulin from Florida--he advertises essaic for sale through distributors.  does anyone know Dr. Gaulin, and does anyone know if essaic has ever been used to treat leukemia effectively?

time is of the utmost urgency here.

thank you

Hi justme1 ...........Essiac was recommended to me by my naturopath and medical doctor when I was diagnosed with non Hodgkin's in 2004 as just one part of an alternative protocol. I personally would not purchase it online. It is quite simple to make one's own and not only is homemade much cheaper you also have control over the freshness and the quality. Most health food stores that have a bulk section stock the necessary four herbs........Here are some links to some information about Essiac's origins and it's efficacy and also the recipe for making it...........http://www.essiacinfo.org/ ........... http://www.theherbs.info/recipe1.html ........... http://www.cancertutor.com/Cancer/Essiac.html ........... The Cancer Tutor website is one of the most trustworthy and reliable sites for information on alternative protocols.....In case you have not come across it in your researching here is the link to it's section on leukemia........http://cancertutor.com/Other/Leukemia.html ......I would also like to suggest that you do some research on Avemar. It is a natural supplement that has had many animal and human trials and is highly recommended for treating most cancers. I credit it as well as part of the protocol that brought me back to good health.......Here are just two links to get you started if you are interested in checking it out as a possible help for your mother.....http://www.holisticcancersolutions.com/avemar_report.htm ............... http://www.avemar.com/search.php?sf=4&words=Leukemia&x=19&y= ................Please pass along my good wishes to your mother for a gentle and swift return to good health. _______________________________________________________________

Hi everyone,

I would like to talk a little about Essiac, I have been taking it now for almost 2 months and have so much faith in it, Essiac was originally made in Bracebridge, Ontario by a nurse by the name of Rene Caisse, hence the name Essiac, it is nurse Rene's surname spelled backwards, Essiac, she formed these 4 herbs from a little house she had in Bracebridge from 1920 until she passed away at a ripe old age, standing beside her all through the years helping her to make Essiac was my grandmother, Mary MacPherson, I used to go to her house (grandma's) and right up until her 80's she was still making Essiac in her kitchen for everyone and anyone who showed up at her door, that is how powerful her belief was that Essiac was a cure for Cancer, I spoke to her many times about the power of Essiac and she believed in it so much along with Nurse Rene that both of them spent their whole lives trying to cure cancer, people came to Rene's small house in Bracebridge and to my grandma's house from all over the world to learn how to make it themselves, or to pick up the Essiac that Rene and Grandma had made, there was never a penny charged for this, they believed that making people cancer free was payment enough, I saw the same people come to her house for years, people who only had limited time to live according to the doctors and no hope left, and years and years later were still taking Essiac and baffling the doctors, some people were so appreciative that they would make donations to help keep Rene and Grandma with the time and finances in making the Essiac, but they did it for a strong belief in helping people, and for the love of seeing people live for years beyond the doctor's expectations, I admired both of these woman, although I never met Rene, I heard so much about her that I felt like I did, but Grandma spoke so highly of her, All those years ago I never thought that I would have to use Essiac myself, I was just diagnosed in March 26th, 2009 with Kidney Cancer and mets to the lungs, the day I was released from the hospital the first thing I did was go to the health food store and buy Essiac, there is so many copy cats out there, but the true Essiac has a Canadian Flag on it, Green Bottle, there is only 4 ingredients on it, you can make it yourself following closely to the directions on Rene Cassie's web page, or you can buy it already premixed, I have done both, but I find the premixed easier to deal with, it almost tastes like Whiskey, I take 4 teaspoons, twice daily on an empty stomach, I have to go for a biopsy on May 12th but no matter what the doctor says, I will take Essiac for the rest of my life, because of the strong belief that I was brought up with, I trust it 100%, and grandma said it was great for all cancers, arthritis, and quite a few other ailments, but mostly cancer, she was a strong believer that the only reason the Food and Drug administration would not put it down as a Cancer Cure was because of the billions of dollars that Cancer Research makes the government can not afford to lose that money, so please, first sign of Cancer, go get Essiac, take it, think positive, and have faith that it will work, give it time, nothing good happens overnight, it may take a few weeks to get into your system, but trust it with your life, I do!

Does Essiac tea reduce the number of platelets being produced by the bone marrow? I was recently diagnosed with essential thrombocythemia and am trying to find an alternative to taking chemo drugs. I tried Hydrea and I couldn’t go to work due to the constant nausea.
