AHCC Is Still Doing Its Magic.

I want to keep my messages short because I know there is a great deal of information as well as comfort on these forums.

I want to say first that I feel saddened today.  I haven't logged in my account for a while probably around 6 months or more.  I have read some posts and it seems some dear loved ones have since moved on.  Also I can't help the fact but feel like i've been selfish with sharing my experiences.

I posted a very long message close to a year ago now about my father and his stage iv pancreatic cancer (w/ spread to small bowels and omentum) Out of desperation I looked to some alternative remedies and I found AHCC. (active hexose correlated compound) as a dietary supplement.

My father has decided to stop all forms of chemo and that has been 3 months ago.  My father still takes large does of AHCC up to 10 pills of 500mg .

I will never say that it is curing my father I can only state facts that i've observed with my own eyes.

My father has never been hospitalized NOT one time ...my father has barely even caught a cold (he had common colds more frequently even before pancreatic cancer).

My father does have pain frequently but NOTHING over the counter ALIEVE can't help.  My father overall didn't have a terrible apettite.

After more then a year I am convinced that this AHCC is still doing wonders and is somehow slowing down the ravages of pancreatic cancer.

My father still has a decent quality of life.  He still eats watches TV and goes for walks with my mom.  Altho its a far cry from what he used to be physically.

I truly feel that AHCC is masking all the terrors of pancreatic cancer we read and hear about.

That is really good news. A friendly suggestion, check your dad's D level to make sure he is maximizing the immune properties of AHCC. Without adequate D levels the immune system won't activate the T cells and helper cells.

Also has he done any detoxing?

I  reversed my advanced cacner with an alternative method. Today I am in total remission.

Thanks for Sharing....I am a believer in the healing effects of natural products. My dad just started taking the AHCC and his blood test is showing that his killer cells are up.  He is 72 Stage IV colon cancer DX about 3 yrs ago.

In case I decide to try AHCC, I have a couple of questions if you would please answer.....Does your dad take his AHCC on an empty stomach or with food?  Does he take more than 1,000 mg. per day or what is his dose?  Does he experience any nausea while on it?

Up date on dad after trying the AHCC - All the tumors stopped growing and two are noted to of decreased in size. And also there are 4 that were not mentioned at all on the csan report....don't know if they are still there or not.  Dad said his doctor told him that some of the small ones aren't showing up. The doctor said he was going to start giving him longer times off chemo.

AHCC  was a part of the alternative protocol that was recommended for me when I was diagnosed with non Hodgkin’s lymphoma in early 2004.   At that time I took two 500mg capsules with each meal.    I now  take just one capsule daily as maintenance to help keep my immune system strong.  It’s probably best for each individual to have an alternative health practitioner advise them as to what dose will work best for them. I am guessing body weight might have something to do with the proper amount..

Here is a link to a website which I found very informative and I hope it helps to answer some of your questions.

Wishing the best for everyone

Dad was taking different amounts some days 2, and other days he took 4, now he is trying to take 6 a day. But most days he takes 4. He will have another blood test on Friday and It will be interesting to see if he has another positive morph. left shift with the raised white blood cell on his report. That was an indicator that something was different. When I researched it to the best of my ability it said a positive prognoses. I will keep you all imformed of the next SCAN results.
