Hi All,

Been quite awhile since I did a post on the board. But just thought I'd update those old friends and try to give some hope to those going through treatments. I just had my 2.5 year check up at MD Anderson. All is clear and all is good. No signs of cancer, all taste back, weight back on (too much actually). Only lasting side effects. My ears itch often and dont make enough saliva. Little price to pay! For those that dont know me. I had squamous cell carcinoma of the left tonsil. Treatment was hell, side effects miserable. But now life is better than ever. Good luck to all. Rick

Don't turn that channel cancer warrior fans....

10th and final round.....

Rick and the Big Bully with a small c others call cancer fall into the neutral corner-allot of holding-continuous taunts and fears- and the Big Bully is throwing his usual dirty kidney punches when Rick slips through a clench and POWWWWWWWWWWW...... a RIGHT UPPER CUT.......and BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMM,...followed by a left hook to the temple....and BAMMMMMMMMMM...overhand right cross to the chin and the Big Bully collapses on the canvas......life can change on a dime sometimes-both good and bad......man, that was one tough 10 round fight....I could see that win coming before youc ould Rick.....

RICK WITH THE ITCHY EARS AND  LITTLE SPIT-LOL-UUUUUUUU DA CHAMPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP....(DO NOT TELL US RICK YOU ARE GOING TO dISNEY WORLD-TOALLY UNACCEPTABLE)

Great fight Rick-you inspire us as you walked into the desert and the ring-you both accepted and carried your cross bravely and with courage....you endured and were fortified adnd forged in the fire like a shiny galiant sword and now you are made to look brand new (plus 10 pounds like me-LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Great fight-congratulations for showing all the new fighters how it is done!!!!!!!!

the Corner man,

One day at a time-one round at a time,

With faith, hope and ,love (and one tough mental attitude)

Rick that is totally awesome.  My husband Rick is nine months out from treatment for rt. squamous cell stage IVa tonsil cancer.  He eats everything and fishes like a fool all the time and is just doing great.  August 10th will be a year since his rt. tonsillectomy and neck dissection.  His first pet scan so far post treatment was all negative.  Life is Good!!!!!  I pray for continued health for you.  Nita (AZ)
